Mai Chong Yang

Mai Chong Yang (she/her/hers) is a UW–Oshkosh alumna with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a Hmong Studies Certificate. She has been part of the Our HMoob American College Paj Ntauj team for over two years, focusing on the impact of the WiscAMP program at UW-Milwaukee. She is the project coordinator for the UW–Oshkosh-based NSF grant project, an extension of the Paj Ntaub project. Mai Chong hopes this project receives the acknowledgment of Hmoob American college students’ experiences in higher education and continues to advocate for and support underrepresented minorities.
